So what's the "Best" material?

The short answer is:  There is no "best" material, just the one that's right for you.  They all have their pro's and con's.  Sunbrella Marine Canvas has the widest color selection that gets updated from time to time.  It is a "water repellant" acrylic canvas that has excellent longevity, color fastness and carries a 10 year warranty.

Sunbrella requires annual maintenance to ensure its water repellant properties.

Weblon, Seamark, and Stamoid are Marine vinyls.  They are entirely water proof, a bit easier to maintain, but do add to the cost of the project.  They also have a much more limited color availablity when compared to Sunbrella.

We stock 15-20 of the most popular colors at all times.  We can get any color in just a day or two.  Here's a rather long link to the current availability our supplier has.  These colors change from time to time.
